And for me, the experience of designing and creating a wedding cake is all about telling your story.
Your cake should reflect who you are, show your style and be utterly unforgettable – a talking point but, just as importantly, a tasting point. Inspired by the couples I work with throughout the Lake District and Cumbria, I create contemporary wedding cakes that are stylish and sumptuous in equal measure.
Wren designs are all about simple silhouettes, clean designs and a fine art finish. I believe that simplicity can also make a statement. Drama is in the details – that artistic twist or handmade arrangement of sugar flowers is quite literally the icing on top, transforming the design.
You will always work one-to-one with me and my ethos is to keep things warm and considered. From our very first consultation to when you cut the cake, we’ll plan your perfect centrepiece together, bringing your vision to life.
I design and create each cake from my home in Kendal, Cumbria. Surrounded by the landscapes of the Lake District, I draw a lot of inspiration from what’s around me – but more than anything, from you. Your story, your style and the feeling you want to create on your wedding day.
