For peak wedding season dates (May-September) I recommend booking a minimum of 12-18 months in advance as popular dates fill up quickly. Out of season 3-4 months is fine and I sometimes I can accommodate last minute orders.
Things you need to know when buying a bespoke wedding cake
I’ll be more than happy to answer your questions if you what you’re looking for is not answered below.
How much will my wedding cake cost?
There are so many different elements that go into the cost of a bespoke cake, such as the flavours, the intricacy of the design, how many guests it needs to serve, plus the cost of delivery and setup. Do get in touch with me and I can…
Do you deliver?
Yes! I personally deliver and setup all my wedding cakes and will work with your wedding venue and other suppliers to ensure your cake is setup perfectly setup on the day. Your cake proposal will include the cost of delivery, this is charged at £1 per mile plus my hourly rate.
Do you cater for allergies?
I’m more than happy to bake without gluten, dairy, nuts, or eggs, and take the utmost care with free from cakes, but they are baked in the same kitchen as my regular recipes please be aware that there is a risk of cross-contamination.
I really like this design; can you copy it?
Unfortunately, not. While it’s great to find cake designs that inspire you, the best option is to work with me to create a truly unique cake for your wedding that can include the elements you love.
We cake designers pride ourselves on creating edible works of arts, and who wouldn’t want to have a completely custom piece on their big day?
Do you make celebration cakes?
I do love making all types of cakes but due to the fact my diary can be booked for many months ahead and the number of hours involved in wedding cakes I don’t offer cakes for birthdays or other occasions.
