First of all, I check the date and give an estimate on price and we have a chat to discuss the details. Once you book I begin sketching and planning your cake in detail. Every cake contains only the finest ingredients, each made to my secret recipe with a sprinkling of romance.
I only take a limited number of orders to maintain my high quality standard and attentive approach, creating cakes that are stylish, sumptuous, decadent and delicious.

I love to meet couples face to face, and if you choose to have a fully iced cake, a design appointment is included. If you are opting for a simple but stylish semi naked cake, a phone consultation can cover all the essentials.
If you’re not local to Cumbria and the Lake District I’m happy to arrange any appointments where possible to fit in with your plans.

At your design consultation we’ll chat all things wedding, and I’ll be finding out your plans for the big day. Feel free to bring along any swatches, invitations, or even just a link to a Pinterest board – this can all help to create your perfect cake.
You’ll then receive a bespoke cake design sketch and and I’ll be able to give you a final quote.

I firmly believe that eating cake is the best part of wedding planning, and once you’ve enquired with me you are able to order one of my tasting boxes – no one wants to order a cake without tasting it first!

Commission your centrepieceThe price for a wedding cake design depends on many things. When I am quoting for couples I consider the size and number of tiers, the amount of detailing (eg the intricacy of handcrafted sugar flowers, ruffles or gold leaf applique), the combinations of flavour and the level of complexities in creating the design.
Quality and Creativity at the heart of your cake
My sumptuous cakes are created using only the finest ingredients, every element thoughtfully and carefully crafted, including decadent Belgian chocolate ganaches, fruity gelees and delicious pralines. I have a limited number of spaces available for commissions so that I can spend time on each design, prioritising quality and creativity.
Every wedding cake I create is designed exclusively for each couple, so the final cost will vary depending on the size of the cake and the level of decorative detail involved. Most couples invest between £800 and £1,200 in their wedding cake. As a guide, fully iced wedding cakes featuring handcrafted sugar flower arrangements typically start from:
Single tier (up to 30 guests) from £350
Typical investment: £350–£450
Two tiers (up to 55 guests) from £650
Typical investment: £700–£800
Three tiers (75–95 guests) from £795
Typical investment: £850–£1,000
Four tiers (up to 135 guests) from £975
Typical investment: £1,050–£1,300
More elaborate designs featuring extensive sugar flower work, hand piping, ruffles or other intricate decorative elements are quoted individually.
