In the heart of Liverpool lies this gem of contemporary elegance and urban sophistication, Hope Street Hotel. With its sleek design and breathtaking views of the city skyline, it’s no wonder why this boutique hotel has become a sought-after destination for couples seeking a stylish and intimate wedding celebration.
You may have seen that I usually weddings and photoshoots at more rural venues, but I attended university in Liverpool, and it really is one of the best cities! So when I was asked to take part in the shoot I couldn’t resist, especially at the Hope Street Hotel.
The hotel’s minimalist architecture and chic interior provide the perfect backdrop for stylish and modern wedding. With sweeping views of the cityscape, the beautiful terrace was one of the focuses of the shoot, creating a sense of urban romance, and the interior is equally beautiful, with floor to ceiling windows that showcase the skyline.
To reflect the modern, edginess of the venue, I created a textured and modern wedding cake. Keeping the cake in neutral tones allowed the edible rice paper sails to make a statement, whilst the cake setup and styling added the finishing touch!
