As a wedding supplier to lots of venues throughout the Lake District, I shouldn’t really say I have “favourite” venues, but I do, and The Wild Boar Hotel near Bowness on Windermere at Crook is one of them.
Cosy, rustic, with just the right amount of prettiness and charm for a relaxed wedding day. Plus, the food is amazing, and you must check out their menu (savoury afternoon tea anyone?).
So take a venue I love, a stylist I love and a photographer I love and I’ve never said yes so quickly to a shoot.
Textured paper stock and beautiful pen and ink drawings provided the inspiration for the cake designs, 3 deconstructed tier with wafer paper and a painted mountainscape, as well as delicious meringues…
